The Historical Society of Bloomfield is a group of dedicated volunteers who promote interest in the rich history of Bloomfield and seek to preserve the remnants of that history. They sponsor, staff, and maintain the Historical Museum with it's displays and showcases.

The Museum is located at 90 Broad Street, on the second floor of the Children's Wing of the Bloomfield Public Library. The Museum is open Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon, and by appointment. Admission is free.
